Former Speaker Peter Slipper will learn if he’s going to jail after being convicted for using taxpayer-funded cab charges to visit Canberra’s wine region.

In July, Mr Slipper was found guilty of three counts of dishonesty and could face up to a year in prison or $10,000 in fines when he’s sentenced on Monday in the ACT Magistrates Court.
