Two men have been arrested over the shooting death of a man in Melbourne’s north earlier this month.

A 47-year-old man was found gunned down in the street at Heidelberg West on April 1.

Police on Sunday arrested two Heidelberg West men, aged 43 and 46.

The pair are being interviewed, and no charges have been laid.

Earlier this month a 29-year-old Preston man was arrested and interviewed in relation to the man’s death, but later released without charge.
