1. Kanye West debuted a cringe-worthy music video featuring his fiancee, Kim Kardashian. 

Shot for West’s new single Bound 2, the outspoken, and clearly loved up, singer premiered it on The Ellen Degeneres Show. There is absolutely no point to this apart from it being a vehicle to show West’s wife, Kim Kardashian’s, body off. The new parents, who both star in the clip, drive past some pretty scenery on a motorbike while, ahem, demonstrating their love for one another.

2. Two teen soap opera mega-phenomenons merged with the announcement of Adam Brody and Leighton Meester’s engagement

A match made in teen-angst-TV heaven. Seth Cohen and Blair Waldorf are getting married. No, not just in the parallel universe of The O.C and Gossip Girl. The very private couple, who People Magazine reports have been dating since the beginning of the year, are set to head down the aisle.

3. Miley Cyrus removed her eyebrows

Australian model Miranda Kerr shared a photo of herself and Miley on her Instagram account in which Miley appeared to be working some bleached eyebrows. Yeah, we’re not really sure either.

4. Rupert Murdoch and Wendi Deng finalised their divorce

Ms Deng will keep the couple’s $44 million Manhattan apartment and their property in Beijing. The couple filed for divorce in June after a 14-year marriage. Ms Deng hugged Mr Murdoch after the proceedings ended, ABC reports. We don’t blame her, we’d be pretty happy too.

5. Channing Tatum did a hilarious spoof of Jean Claude Van Damme’s Volvo ad

Tatum was on the set of 22 Jump Street (that’s not a typo) when he decided to create his own interpretation of the viral Volvo advertisement featuring Van Damme doing the splits between two trucks. Channing’s version was a little more low-budget and didn’t end quite as well.

6. Chris Hemsworth and wife Elsa Pataky are expecting their second child

They are already parents to 18 month-old daughter India. The new arrival will hopefully lead to more photos like this.

7. Lorde and Taylor Swift had lunch together at Shake Shack in New York City

An onlooker snapped a photo of the pop power pair ordering their burgers and fries. Apparently Lorde paid. We’re guessing they were discussing their mutual love of world domination at a young age.
