Victoria: Free public transport for veterans and war widows to help them attend Anzac Day commemoration activities. Free travel is also extended to Australian Defence Force members, scouts, guides and school students on Anzac Day.
NSW: Free travel for veterans and their families on Anzac Day.
Queensland: Different timetables for some services for the Anzac Day public holiday.
Perth: Free travel on Anzac Day for veterans and serving personnel wearing uniforms, campaign ribbons, or medals. Seniors, aged and disability support pensioners can also travel for free on the public holiday.
Adelaide: Free travel on all Adelaide Metro buses, trains and trams for past and present military personnel wearing a uniform, people wearing service medals, and people carrying a war veteran’s identification card. Additional bus, train, and tram services will operate for the dawn service. Road closures will affect some bus routes and tram services. Seniors Card members can travel for free on Adelaide Metro buses, trains, and trams.
Tasmania: A normal public holiday timetable will operate.
Darwin: Veterans who hold a Veteran’s Gold Card are provided with free travel on public transport.
