The Islamic State claims it has executed more hostages, this time a 50-year old Chinese man and a 48-year old Norwegian man.

In the latest issue of the Islamic State publication, images of the slain men were printed with the caption, “Executed after being abandoned by the kafir (disbeliever) nations and organisations”, reported Channel Nine.

It is believed the Norwegian man’s family informed IS it could not afford the ransom demanded for his release, while the Norwegian government has a strict policy against paying terrorist ransoms.

The Chinese government admitted in September that IS was holding one of its citizens hostage.

The extremist caliphate has used its publication to publicise hostage executions in the past, including of the American journalists James Foley and Steven Sotloff and Japanese journalist Kenji Goto.

The 12th edition of the publication featured the cover headline “Just Terror”, along with an image of the site of the deadly Paris attacks.

IS claimed responsibility for the terror attacks that killed 129 people across the French capital on November 13.

The alleged organiser behind the Paris attacks, Belgian national Abdelhamid Abaaoud was also featured in the latest IS publication.

The son of Moroccan immigrants, Abaaoud is thought to have attended one of Brussels’ most prestigious high schools before being radicalised.

On Monday, Abaaoud was flagged as the possible ringleader behind the attacks, before he was reportedly killed in police raids in the Paris suburb of St Denis on Wednesday.
