Two burglars have staged a dumb and dumber robbery on the Gold Coast, with one plunging five metres from a balcony and the other nabbed by his intended victims.
A woman and a 17-year-old boy returned to their Broadbeach unit on Monday night to find the two men stealing their things.

One of the robbers jumped out the bathroom window but was chased down by the pair and held until police arrived.
The second burglar broke into a neighbouring unit and was trying to climb down from a balcony when he plunged five metres onto a cement driveway. He suffered a dislocated toe.
The woman, 47, suffered an injured hand, and the teen facial injuries, while making their citizens’ arrest.
The two men, both 29, have been charged with burglary and will front the Southport Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
