This week, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese choked up while announcing that Labor MP Peta Murphy had died.
Murphy, the MP for the Victorian seat of Dunkley, died age 50. In 2019, just two weeks before she was sworn in, the breast cancer she had previously beaten returned.

Shark v croc
Up in the top end, a crocodile was surrounded by and outnumbered sharks.
In the incredible footage, a shark does seem to try to have a go at the croc, who seems to make it out unscathed.
Home explosion
A home in Virginia exploded as police tried to execute a search warrant earlier this week, after reports of shots being fired from inside the home.
An investigation into the explosion is ongoing, the Associated Press reported, however, authorities have said it is believed the home owner, James Yoo, died.

When Margot Robbie and Cillian Murphy sat down for Variety‘s Actors on Actors, he revealed he does know what a meme is and he knows about the Barbenheimer memes.
Murphy credited his teenage sons for keeping him in the loop and acknowledged the meme about him not knowing what a meme is. “Inception of memes,” Robbie quipped.

Kiss confuses dog
Jasper was very confused by the concept of blowing kisses this week and was desperately looking up to the sky in hopes of spotting it.
The discombobulated dog then looked back at his owner, not really sure what had just happened.
