This week, Taylor Swift braved a heatwave and Australia took on India in the Cricket World Cup.
Plus, a dog responded to some feedback she got after a video of her went viral and the Sphere in Las Vegas had the best vantage point for the F1.
Australia’s huge World Cup win
This week, the Australian men’s cricket team won its sixth ODI World Cup.
It defeated India, in Ahmedabad in front of almost 95,000 people.

Joe Biden mistakes Britney for Taylor
US President Joe Biden got his pop stars mixed up when he tried to make a joke on his 81st birthday this week.
He spoke about ‘‘Britney’s [Spears] tour’’ in Brazil, when in fact, it’s Taylor Swift who was down in Brazil on her Eras Tour.

Taylor Swift performs through heatwave
As Taylor Swift performed in Brazil there was a massive heatwave and perhaps for the first time on this tour, Swift looked exhausted after she wrapped the show.
Sadly, Ana Clara Benevides fainted before Swift took to the stage in Rio de Janeiro and subsequently died, while other fan footage from the shows in Brazil recorded Swift throwing bottled water into the crowd after the stadium didn’t allow people to bring their own.

Mission: Noia
A very clever dog named Noia could certainly give Tom Cruise a run for his money after completing a very complex mission.

Hungry bird
A very hungry bird was told off for pecking at a ute this week in New Zealand.
However, the Kea was very defiant and despite the driver telling the bird to not dig in to the windscreen wipers, it continued and even stole some of the rubber from the window lining.
@nik_in_nz Just another day in #newzealand watching a #kea eat my ute. #parrots #lovebirds #smartanimals #cheeky
Dog responds to feedback
After a video of Tess the pudelpointer went viral on TikTok this week, her owner gave her some feedback from her many adoring fans.
Some say Tess looked like Willem Dafoe in The Lighthouse, while one person described her as a “very cute Civil War general”.

Marmot bath
Admittedly, we didn’t even know what a marmot was until this week, but here is a very cute video of the large rodent having a bath.
The marmot was very relaxed throughout the bath, remaining very still and allowing for the soap and water to wash all over him.

Clumsy pandas
We are happy to report that panda cubs were very clumsy.
This week, Everland zoo in South Korea shared a video of the two cubs taking a few tumbles.
According to local media, the cubs were born earlier this year and they were the first pandas to be born in South Korea.
