‘No one knows what’: Cartoon mocks Harry and Meghan

'Family Guy' mocks Duke and Duchess of Sussex

Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle have been mocked by another animated show, with Family Guy taking aim at the former royals.

A Duke and Duchess of Sussex are shown in a new episode of Seth MacFarlane’s animated sitcom lounging by the pool in their bathers.

The episode, which aired in the US on Sunday, shows the main character, Peter Griffin, comparing himself to the Sussexes. Harry and American-born Meghan famously quit as working royals to pursue a life of financial independence in the US.

Griffin is shown sitting in a bar with his friends as he mulls ways to retrieve money he is owed. Eventually, he says he’ll “go it alone”.

The show then cuts to a poolside Harry and Meghan. A butler approaches the prince with a stack of envelopes.

“Sir, your millions from Netflix for … no one knows what,” he says.

Cartoon Harry tells him to “Put it with the rest of them”.

Then Meghan gets a notification on her phone.

“Babe, time to do our daily $250,000 sponsored Instagram post for [fast-food chain] Del Taco,” she says.

To which Harry replies: “I shouldn’t have left the made-up nonsense.”

Family Guy‘s dig is the second time this year the Sussexes have been targeted in an animated mockery.

In February, South Park featured the couple in a 22-minute episode titled “The Worldwide Privacy Tour”.

It showed Harry and Meghan – dubbed the “prince and princess of Canada” – being booed by the rest of the royal family because they had been “bashing the Canadian monarchy”.

Sussexes said to be keen to investigate 'South Park' episode

The prince and his wife were also shown on a TV talk show, where they walked out chanting “we want privacy”. Both held signs, with hers saying “stop looking at us”, and they are booed by the audience.

In one scene, key character Kyle notices the royals have moved in opposite him.

“It seriously is driving me crazy. I’m sick of hearing about them but I can’t get away from them. They’re everywhere. In my f—ing face,” he says.

A spokesperson for the former royals later denied reports they were planning to sue South Park‘s creators.

“It’s all frankly nonsense. Totally baseless, boring reports,” they told People magazine.

South Park has also previously taken aim at Harry’s estranged brother, Prince William and his wife Kate. The couple, now Prince and Princess of Wales, featured in a 2011 episode that mocked their royal wedding.
