This week, Network 10 paid tribute to their former colleague, Jesse Baird, who died alongside his partner, Luke Davies. A NSW police officer has been charged with their murders.

In the emotional tribute, Baird’s tenure at the network was highlighted and the team celebrated ‘‘the man he was’’.

@10newsfirst

A tribute to our friend, and former colleague, Jesse Baird. The Network 10 family has been rocked by the murder of Jesse, alongside that of his partner Luke Davies, and our hearts go out to their families and friends. We want to celebrate Jesse for the man he was, not the way he died. Here’s how we remember him – amazingly talented, funny, beautiful inside and out, and forever loved and missed. We love you, Jesse.

Olivia Colman’s brilliant impression

We already know Olivia Colman is a brilliant actress, but this week while speaking to the BBC, she showed the world an extra special impression of a pigeon.

Specifically, she did an impression of a pigeon on a high building and she nailed it. Give her another Oscar.

Weird Wonka experience

The internet has been abuzz with the Willy Wonka experience in Glasgow, which seems to be anything but magic.

In one video, children scream as the “Unknown”, a surprise character no one really knows anything about, comes out from hiding. Parents have apparently called the police after attending, CBS News reported.

Bear takes a break

A rescue bear has taken a break from hibernation to play.

Four Paws USA shared a video of Vova the bear mucking around in the snow and we assume this means he is not competing in this year’s “March Napness”.

@fourpawsusa

Caretakers at our BEAR SANCTUARY Domazhyr have reported that bear Vova has taken a short break from hibernation… to do this. Whatever this is. Is this his way of cheering on his sleeping companions, competing in this year’s MarchNapness? Is he mad that it’s still wintertime? Regardless of what his motivations may be, we are so pleased to see him engaging in natural behaviors such as hibernation – and play – at our sanctuary! Vova was rescued in 2022 after having lived in a small cage with concrete floors all his life, used to attract visitors to a restaurant. Now, he is well-known by his caretakers as a curious and playful guy who enjoys turning everyday objects (such as this stick) into fun enrichments!
