Taste of a ‘hellish’ summer

Several fires spread across NSW this week during unseasonably hot weather, including a blaze on the south coast which began in an area burned during the 2019-20 Black Summer fires.

Floods ravage Victoria

Thousands of Victorians were told to seek higher ground this week as rising rivers in the east of the state burst their banks, just days after the region was hit by bushfires.

Taylor Swift was once again watching purported new squeeze Travis Kelce play ball, and this time she was joined by Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Sophie Turner and Hugh Jackman.

Trump’s bizarre rant

At a rally this week, 2024 presidential hopeful Donald Trump said he would rather be electrocuted than mauled by a shark in a bizarre rant, inspired by an apparent conversation he had with a boat manufacturer.

I will take electrocution every single time, do we agree?” he asked the crowd.

Barkour

A very smart border collie has mastered the art of parkour, or rather, barkour.

The dog was filmed jumping up on to some bike racks and making his way across all of them, not even wobbling, while his human exclaims how “cool” the trick is.
