Comedian Jay Leno has clearly been busy in retirement.

The former Tonight Show host is said to boast a 130-strong vintage car collection, housed and maintained in a hangar in California.

And apparently, each of the cars in registered and legal to drive, according to News.com.au.

Leno was recently seen touring in one of the more outlandish of the collection, a monster vintage car complete with two spare wheels on the outside.

Onlookers flocked to catch a glimpse of the celebrity as he drove the streets of Hollywood, seemingly unfazed by the media circus.

Leno chronicles his automobile adventures on NBC show Jay Leno’s Garage.

The show features Leno and his team of mechanics as they restore and repair a raft of incredibly rare and expensive vehicles.

On top of his car collection, it’s also said Leno owns 93 motorcycles.

When he retired in 2014, Leno handed the Tonight Show reins over to Jimmy Fallon.
