In some better news a woman finally had her dream realised when she got to meet some very good otters, but a dog owner was out of luck when her labrador spotted some mud.
Baltimore bridge collapses
In a matter of seconds, the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapsed after a massive container ship lost power and its ability to manoeuvre and rammed into it.
Two bodies have been recovered from the Patapsco River in Baltimore and four other people are presumed dead and still missing.

The Princess of Wales announced over the weekend she was undergoing preventative chemotherapy after cancer was discovered following abdominal surgery earlier this year.

Australian idols reunited
Shannon Noll and Guy Sebastian were reunited again this week ahead of the Australian Idol grand final.

Penguins swim at St Kilda pier
Down at the pier in St Kilda in Melbourne, a very speedy penguin was seen gliding through the water.
The area is home to a colony of Little Penguins and Parks Victoria says you can usually spot them around dusk.

Some dogs just love the mud, especially labradors, so Luna fully submerged herself in mud.
