Building industry super fund Cbus has made three new appointments to its investment team as part of the implementation of its strategy to boost in-house investment capacity announced in August.

Linda Cunningham has been appointed as debt manager and will oversee the alternative debt sector in the public markets team. Linda will also be responsible for designing and implementing strategies in the area.

She has over 25 years’ experience in funds management and banking and joins from IFM Investors where she ran credit portfolios.

Anna Weickart has been appointed senior investment analyst also in the public markets team and will overs the International and Australian equity manager research effort. Anna has 19 years research management experience, most recently with Willis Towers Watson in Australia and Germany.

Alex Miller has been appointed as infrastructure transaction specialist in the private markets team. He has 18 years of experience in originating and executing greenfield and brownfield infrastructure transactions, most recently in KPMG’s Infrastructure and Projects team and previously as a Director at BOS International.
