Australian actor Katherine Langford, star of 13 Reasons Why, has turned heads at this year’s MTV Movie and TV Awards red carpet.
Nominated for Best Actor In A Show for the harrowing Netflix series, Langford wore a dazzling all-black Armani jumpsuit, paired with a long lace veil.
The gloomy glamour of her bridal-inspired outfit may have been a nod to the fact her hit show deals with some very dark themes.

“We have been working with Armani for a few months on this custom look,” Langford’s stylist Molly Dickson told InStyle.
“We were inspired by their runway look and had the idea of switching it from a gown to a pant look to make it a bit more youthful. The tulle bow in the hair really completes the look and shows Katherine’s cool, strong personality.”
Langford, 22, was among a string of celebrities to hit the red carpet for the annual awards on Sunday (Saturday US time), which since last year have honoured the best of the big screen and television.
Superhero blockbuster Black Panther and Netflix’s sci-fi favourite Stranger Things led the way in nominations at the awards, with seven each.
While the show was filmed on Sunday, the winners won’t be known until it is officially aired in the US and around the world on Tuesday.
In the meantime, here are some of the other chic – and shocker – looks on this year’s red carpet.
