Scott Cam already has one Gold Logie he uses as a bottle opener so he’s not greedy about getting back-to-back awards.

Cam, 2013 Gold Logie winner Asher Keddie and 2012’s Hamish Blake all have a chance to again take home Australian television’s highest award.

They’ll be up against multiple Gold Logie nominees including Blake’s partner in comedy Andy Lee, Home and Away actor Stephen Peacocke and The Project co-host Carrie Bickmore, who is nominated for the fourth year in a row.

Cam, who converted his first Gold Logie into a bottle opener, rated his chance of a back-to-back win as pretty slim.

“I was pretty slim last year but stranger things have happened,” he told AAP on Sunday.

“Everybody there deserves to have one of those and I don’t want to be greedy, I’ve got one in the cupboard at home. It’s very nice to be nominated though.”

Unlike Bickmore and Lee, Cam missed out on a nomination for the most popular presenter Silver Logie which he won last year.

“I think that’s a great thing, the presenter award, because that’s what I do for a job,” Cam said.

“That’s alright, all the guys up there are fantastic and I’m very happy to be in the gold area.

“I’d rather miss out on the silver than the gold.”

Peacocke is again nominated for a most popular actor Silver Logie, as is last year’s winner Chris Lilley, this time for Jonah from Tonga on the ABC.

Luke Arnold’s performance as Michael Hutchence in the hit Seven Network mini-series INXS: Never Tear Us Apart has him in the running for two Silver Logies – most popular actor and the peer-voted most outstanding actor award.

Offspring and Party Tricks actress Keddie has the chance to make it five times in a row that she has won most popular actress, after also taking home the most outstanding actress gong last year.

Julia Morris thought she was catching up with her House Husbands colleagues at the nominations announcement, before shooting of the new season starts on Monday, but found herself again nominated for a Silver Logie as most popular actress.

“To turn up and then have all of that happen is kind of out of control in the best way,” she said.

Consistent ratings-topper for the Seven Network My Kitchen Rules is again up for most popular reality program, which it won last year.

It will be competing against Nine’s The Block and Big Brother and Network Ten’s Bondi Rescue and Bondi Vet.

This year’s list of nominees for the gold is a repeat of the 2014 nominations save for Blake making a return in the place of 2014 nominee actress Essie Davis.

Four-time Grammy winner Sam Smith and two-time nominee Meghan Trainor will perform at the TV Week Logie Awards on May 3.
