The Block contestants will be hoping for record prices when their Melbourne luxury apartments go under the hammer in a little over a week.
The Nine Network has announced The Block Glasshouse grand finale will be screened on Sunday, October 12.
The popular renovation reality program started 10 weeks ago and in that time the five couples have transformed the 3.540-square metre, 1980s office block on High St in Prahran into six split-level atrium apartments.
All couples will be given a reserve price ahead of the auctions and whatever their apartment sells for above that reserve, they get to pocket.
The couple whose apartment sells for the highest amount above its reserve will be crowned the winner of The Block Glasshouse and will also bank an additional $100,000 in prizemoney.
Last series no contestants left with less than $500,000, with the winners, Steve and Chantelle, pocketing a huge $736,000.
