The spontaneous tattoo Jennifer Lawrence regrets

What does Jennifer Lawrence do in her spare time?

She hangs out with the Hemsworth brothers and gets spontaneous tattoos, of course.

• Matt Damon doesn’t look like Matt Damon anymore
Andy Murray’s wife steals the Wimbledon show
• Julie Bishop’s crippling fashion addiction

In true J-Law fashion, her new flesh-coloured tattoo is not only weird and awkward, it’s a hilarious blunder.

“I call this tattoo a watered-down rebellion,” Lawrence told HitFix at Comic-Con in San Diego this week.

“I was with Liam’s [Hemsworth] family and everybody was getting tattoos. And I was like, ‘Well, I’m always going to need to be hydrated so I guess I should just get H2O on my hand’.”

Unfortunately, the 24-year-old’s representation of H2O was slightly inaccurate.

“By the way, I know the ‘2’ is high, and in H2O the ‘2’ is supposed to be low,” she explained.

“I should have Googled it before I got it tattooed on my body.”

Here is the offending ink:

Bieber’s bizarre shoot

Knives, leather masks and … Martha Stewart?

Teen sensation Justin Bieber has taken part in a raunchy new spread for the August issue of Interview magazine.

Photos of Bieber brandishing a dagger and wearing a clown mask has been included alongside an interview with the star conducted by home guru Stewart.

That’s a whole lot of weird for one magazine.

The interview contains riveting exchanges like this one:

STEWART: Do you remember when we first met? It was in February 2011. You were with your mom, and we were backstage at … Do you remember where?

BIEBER: No, I don’t remember where.

STEWART: It was David Letterman.

BIEBER: Oh yeah.

We suppose the photos had to be raunchy in order to offset the less-than-thrilling conversation.

Madonna’s new piercing

She’s approaching 60, but perennial music megastar Madonna isn’t slowing down anytime soon.

The 56-year-old has debuted a dramatic new look on her Instagram account, sharing a snap of her septum piercing.

For those who are confused, a septum piercing involves sticking a needle through that bit of cartilage separating your nostrils. Delightful.

Madonna is by no means the first celebrity to rock this look. Actually, her 18-year-old daughter Lourdes Leon beat her to it.

So did former Neighbours star Caitlin Stasey.

You know the times are changing when Madonna is taking style inspiration from her daughter.

Gents, here’s what NOT to wear

You’d think New York Fashion Week was called that for a reason. Apparently not.

Rather than providing an outline for what will be in fashion over the next season, the annual style event has merely provided a catalogue of men’s fashion mishaps to avoid.

For example, please don’t wear this, men of Australia:

Actually, women should probably steer clear of that too.

To avoid looking like Hansel from Zoolander, do not purchase this outfit:

We’re not really sure what to say about this one either:

No. Just no:

Make it stop.
