Outspoken rapper Kanye West has continued his feud with pop star Taylor Swift, saying the songstress is “not cool no more”.

During an appearance at Los Angeles nightclub 1 OAK, West told the crowd that Swift gave him permission to rap this line in his song, ‘Famous’:

“I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b**** famous.”

“I called Taylor,” West said. “I played her ‘Famous’. I told her, look, I said, ‘Taylor, I talked to my wife about it. And I said, ‘How you feel about this line?’ I was like, Taylor, ‘I think you and me still might have sex.’,” West said according to US Magazine.

“She said, ‘Oh, Kanye, I like that line.’ Then she won [at the Grammys] and went and said something completely different.

“She not cool no more, she had two seconds to be cool and she f***ed it up. Make her stop trying to make up stories.”

Swift has denied that she was asked permission by West.

She took what some considered a swipe at West while accepting an award at the Grammys earlier this month.

“As the first woman to win Album of the Year at the Grammys twice, I want to say to all the young women out there,” Swift said.

“There are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame.

“But if you just focus on the work and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, someday, when you get where you are going.

“You will look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there. And that will be the greatest feeling in the world. Thank you for this moment.”
