In early 2013, two of Australia and New Zealand’s greatest living songwriters took a turn around the country to perform their greatest songs. With a set list that could almost be described as the ‘Great Australian Modern Songbook’ Finn and Kelly playfully and soulfully covered ground that included classics like Message to My Girl and How to make Gravy. Such was the success of the concerts, a live DVD, blu-ray, and double-CD of their show at the March 10 Sydney Opera House has been released entitled Goin’ Your Way. Critics and audiences who got along to any of the performances were unashamedly captivated by the collaboration, which saw Crowded House and Split Enz legend Finn and solo maestro Kelly sing each others songs and perform some of their best loved numbers together.
