Hemsworth eyed for Independence Day

Australian actor Liam Hemsworth has reportedly been offered a starring role in the upcoming sequel to Independence Day.
The Hunger Games star is the top choice to lead the follow-up to the much-anticipated sci-fi action film, called ID Forever, according to TheWrap.com.

Director Roland Emmerich is returning to helm the film, but Will Smith will not reprise his role from the 1996 blockbuster.
However, Jeff Goldblum and Bill Pullman are expected to return in ID Forever, which is slated for a 2016 release.
