Settling down at her piano during her Las Vegas concert on Saturday, Lady Gaga was reportedly heckled by a fan asking where Bradley Cooper was.

The question was pointed.

Cooper, Lady Gaga’s A Star is Born co-star, had broken up days earlier with Russian model Irina Shayk, the mother of his daughter Lea, 2.

Gaga and Cooper’s chemistry in the 2018 movie was so sparky fans hoped it would also translate into a real-life love story.

The singer’s split in February from music producer Christian Carino, 50, fanned the flames of gossip she and Cooper were a secret item, as did their steamy duet at the Oscars in March.

After that performance – labelled ‘disrespectful’ to Shayk – the Victoria’s Secret model is said to have unfollowed Lady Gaga on Twitter.

So with all of that heat, Gaga’s response – absolutely nothing – to the Vegas question about Cooper spoke volumes.

Instead, she spoke about ignoring pressure in her early career to be ‘less camp” because the people it came from were “shallow”.

And with that, telling fans to “be kind or f— off” in their attitude towards individual choices, Lady Gaga, 33, launched into A Star is Born’s monster hit Shallow.

Consider that the official response, although a source also insisted to Us Weekly the breakup of Cooper, 44, and Shayk, 33, had “nothing to do with Gaga”.

A second insider told the outlet “nothing romantic” happened between the two stars when they filmed their movie.

Still, Cooper and Shayk’s relationship was different after A Star is Born, a source told People.

“They tried to save the relationship, but it had changed,” the source said.

“Bradley was emotionally absent during the long time filming.”

He was also just absent, according to a different People source who said the pair had “spent a lot of time apart” before news broke in early June that Shayk had moved out.

“They were living totally separate lives. If he was in LA, she’s out of town, and if she was in town, he was out of town,” a third source said.

But in April, a different insider told People Cooper was spending “every day” with his family to make up for his absences during filming.

“Most days, Bradley and Irina take Lea out for activities together. Sometimes they just stroll on the beach. He has been all about his family.”

Whatever the truth, Cooper admitted his career took him away a lot, and A Star is Born in particular demanded a lot of him.

He wrote, produced, directed and starred in the movie, then had a full-tilt 2018 on the promotional trail.

A Star is Born was nominated for eight Oscars and won best original song (Shallow.)

During the intense process, Lady Gaga “was there for him all along the way to listen,” a Radar Online source said.

“Many think that this will lead to them being a thing, but right now that is not the case. Bradley needs a friend and Gaga is really being that for him.”

It was Shayk who Cooper thanked for “putting up with me” during filming when A Star is Born won a BAFTA in London on February 11 for best original music.

The model has kept busy with work since the split. On Saturday she posted photos from an Iceland shoot for Italian label Falconeri.

As for why she and Cooper always chose to keep their romance super private, she told Glamour UK that made her happy.

“Because my work requires me to be out there, I just decided my personal life will be quiet,” she said.

“That’s why it’s called personal, because it’s something for you and your family.”
