Comedian Amy Schumer and her boyfriend Chris Fischer have tied the knot in a star-studded private ceremony in Malibu.

After multiple reports of her secret sunset wedding on Tuesday, Schumer confirmed she was now married on social media, sharing a series of intimate pictures on Instagram.

Schumer, 36, offered little detail as she captioned the series “Yup”.

Many celebrities were on hand to witness Schumer and chef Fischer’s outdoor ceremony, including Jennifer Lawrence, Jennifer Aniston, Jake Gyllenhaal, Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld, People magazine reported.

Comedian John Early presided over the ceremony, while Schumer’s sister, Kim Caramele, was a member of the bridal party.

“It was a very chill wedding. It was thrown together last minute,” an unnamed wedding goer told Us Weekly

“It was like, ‘Hey, this is happening. If you can make it, great. If not, no worries.’ People were in and out all night. There was a lot of seafood—big raw bar [and] tons of oysters.”

The source said the couple read their own vows and that the ceremony was “very sweet, touching and, of course, funny”.

According to reports, Schumer and Fischer had only been dating a few months. Schumer broke up with her previous partner Ben Hanisch in May last year.

In another Instagram post, Schumer asked friends and fans not to send wedding gifts and to instead donate to the charity Everytown for Gun Safety, following the death of 17 people at a Florida high school on Wednesday.

Schumer said the tragedy reminded her of Macy Breaux and Jillian Johnson, who were fatally shot while seeing her movie, Trainwreck, in 2015.

“No gifts but thank you for asking,” she wrote.

“Instead please consider [a] donation to everytown for gun safety… sending love to everyone who has been affected by gun violence.”

She also confirmed she was not pregnant.

On Saturday, Schumer posted the first photo of herself with Fischer on her Instagram. The two are seen locking lips at what appears to be Ellen DeGeneres’ birthday bash.

Schumer captioned the photo: “Happy Birthday@theellenshow thank you for having us!”
