Karl Stefanovic and Jasmine Yarbrough take their engagement public

Karl Stefanovic and Jasmine Yarbrough have made their first public appearance as an engaged couple.
The Today show host, 43, and shoe designer, 34, attended a party for Harper’s Bazaar Australia magazine’s 20th anniversary edition in Sydney on Tuesday night, where Yarbrough showed off her engagement ring.
The ring, estimated to cost $120,000, was first spotted on Yarbrough’s left hand in photo from her birthday celebration on January 29, but the couple is yet to officially confirm the engagement.
According to Fairfax, however, Yarbrough was happy to show off her new bling to chef Matt Moran, who was overheard congratulating the pair at the soiree, held at Moran’s rooftop bar.
Yarbrough also posted a photo to her Instagram account in which her engagement ring was clearly visible to her 16,200 followers, prompting a tide of congratulatory comments.
Stefanovic finalised his divorce from his wife of 21 years, Cassandra Thorburn, in October last year. They have three children together Jackson, 18, Ava, 12, and River, 10.
News broke of their separation in September 2016 and Stefanovic was first spotted with Yarbrough months later, when photographers captured them getting close at a yacht party on Sydney Harbour in February 2017.
On January 29, Stefanovic posted a tribute to Yarbrough on his Instagram, captioning a smiling photo of his fiancee, “Happy birthday beauty”.
Thorburn has been vocal about her disdain for her former husband, telling Woman’s Day Stefanovic is “dead” to her.
“The children still have a father but I don’t have a husband. He really is dead to me and no, we won’t ever be friends again,” she said.
The New Daily contacted Stefanovic’s management for comment by had not received a response by the time of publication.
