Kanye West’s merchandise is bound for Australia, with pop-up stores set to open in Sydney and Melbourne this weekend.

Bondi Beach and Fitzroy have been earmarked as the shop locations for three days from August 19, selling merchandise linked to the rapper’s seventh studio album, The Life of Pablo.

“21 Pablo stores worldwide this weekend,” West tweeted on Thursday morning AEST, with a map of the chosen cities attached.

Long queues are expected from Friday through to Sunday after endless lines outside temporary stores in Los Angeles and Paris.

Pablo stock is expected to include tees and hoodies, featuring either Sydney or Melbourne spelled out in gothic script by West’s artistic collaborator, LA-based Cali Thornhill DeWitt.

Earlier this year, West claimed he had sold $US1 million ($A1.31 million) worth of merchandise including DeWitt’s designs from his New York pop-up store in two days.
