Media mogul Rupert Murdoch and actress and former model Jerry Hall have married in London.
The couple was photographed emerging from Spencer House on Friday, an 18th-century aristocratic palace in central London.
Murdoch’s News UK confirmed Murdoch and Hall, who announced their engagement in January, had married.
It is the fourth marriage for 84-year-old Murdoch, executive chairman of News Corp, while it is technically 59-year-old Hall’s first marriage.
She and her former partner Mick Jagger had an unofficial private Hindu marriage ceremony in Bali, Indonesia, in 1990, but during divorce proceedings in 1999 a British court declared the marriage invalid.
Hall wore her trademark blonde hair in waves, and had a smart handbag slung over her arm, with a knee-length navy skirt and black tights, while Mr Murdoch wore a navy suit.
The pair will hold a private ceremony of celebration on Saturday at St Bride’s Church on Fleet Street, which proclaims itself the “spiritual home of the media”.
The church, which has space for 150 to 200 guests, will be closed to the public for the day.
Murdoch and Hall were spotted together at the Rugby World Cup final at Twickenham on October 31 last year and announced their engagement in The Times on January 12.
Murdoch was previously married to Wendi Deng, mother to two of his children, but they split in June 2013.
He reportedly paid out $US1.7 billion ($A2.31 billion) in a divorce settlement to his second wife Anna Murdoch, while his first wife was Patricia Booker.
