TV psychologist and family therapist Dr. Phil has given Kanye West’s recent erratic behaviour online an official diagnosis.

West, who recently released a much-hyped album and clothing line, has concerned fans with his increasingly kooky Twitter presence, including Tweets claiming that he is A$72million in debt and wants Mark Zuckerberg to bail him out.

“Everybody thinks stuff sometimes,” Dr. Phil McGraw said on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

“You’ll think of something really stupid, but we’re in a society now, we’re in a generation now, where everybody thinks you got to have an audience for everything.”

Dr. Phil is well known for his TV show of the same name, in which he counsels everyday people, and sometimes celebrities, about their personal issues.

But while West’s increasingly strange Tweets have caused some to believe he may be struggling with mental illness, Dr. Phil pulled no punches in diagnosing the rapper as an ‘over sharer’.

“Listen, I don’t need to know that you just brushed your teeth,” Dr. Phil said.

“And I don’t need a picture of it, I don’t need a film of it, but we’re so narcissistic now, everybody’s doing selfies of themselves brushing their teeth. I don’t care.”

Perhaps West’s increasingly public personal life has something to do with his marriage to Kim Kardashian, whose career skyrocketed with the highly intrusive reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
