James Packer shows off huge weight loss
Businessman James Packer has revealed his massive weight loss in a picture shared on Karl Stefanovic’s Instagram account.
Packer, who underwent weight loss surgery in 2011 and has been slowly shedding kilos since then, was photographed alongside the TV show host wearing a pair of grey tracksuit pants and a slim-fitting black t-shirt.
“I just love time with family and the best of friends over Christmas,” wrote Stefanovic of the picture, which showed him, Packer and two others posing in front of a large Christmas tree.

“It’s the most important thing in my life. Lots of love for the festive season everyone.”
Commenters on the photo were quick to pick up the change in Packer’s historically larger frame, congratulating him on the weight loss.
“Packer is looking buff!” wrote one user.
“Oh my God is that James Packer? How skinny is he?” wrote another.
Other users questioned whether new girlfriend Mariah Carey had influenced the sudden slimming.
Packer and singer Carey, who have been dating since June, are spending Christmas in Aspen before heading to Australia for New Years Eve.
Carey is expected to perform in front of 1200 guests at Packer’s Crown Complex in Melbourne, before flying to Sydney to spend time with Packer’s family there.
“I can’t wait to get back to Australia, I have so many of my friends and fans there and the country really means so much to me,” Carey told The Daily Telegraph.
“Australia is such a wonderful country and being able to spend some time with James and my family in Melbourne, Sydney and Ellerston (Packer’s estate in the Hunter Valley) makes the trip so special,” Carey, 45, said.
