A world famous porn star who performed in over 280 adult films from 2006 to 2011 has warned young women to never follow her into the industry.

Rachel Marie Oberlin, stage name Bree Olson, tweeted a message to her 981,000 followers urging “young women that are interested in getting into porn” to steer clear of the industry.

Ms Olsen says there is nothing wrong with the job or the people who work in adult films, but that the fame is not worth the stigma.

“When you do porn you automatically become a segregated part of society,” she said. “Held to prejudice without the support of activists for your human rights.

“Porn isn’t bad – how people will treat you for the rest of your life is.”

While she has no kids of her own she observes being in the porn industry is an “easy [way] to f*** kids up”.

“Do you really want them to go through their childhood with kids at school teasing them or parents not allowing their kids to have sleepovers at your house … because they think you’re running some kind of porn circus at your house?”

Ms Olson was famously one of Charlie Sheen’s live-in “goddesses” who stayed with him at his mansion in 2011 when he was making headlines for drug use.

“People are very strange – even I am guilty of thinking something must be wrong with a woman if she did porn.”

She finished her post by telling men not to worry about any repercussions outside of the industry.

“Guys – don’t worry – you’ll get a high five.”
