Venice has been flooded with celebrities for the wedding of Hollywood hero George Clooney and human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin.
In what could be the biggest celebrity wedding this century, the couple and their guests have swept through the Italian water city by speed boat, with A & G flags on all the water taxis being used to ferry attendees.
Clooney, 53, and Alamuddin, 36, are believed to have sold the photo rights to their four-day nuptials to ‘US Vogue’, with editor Anna Wintour seen in Venice for their marriage.
Other guests include Clooney’s best man, supermodel Cindy Crawford’s husband Rande Gerber, actress Ellen Barkin and Clooney’s good friend Matt Damon.
The wedding party has been seen celebrating at Venice’s famous Cipriani Hotel and are expected to wed sometime this weekend at Aman Canal Grande Hotel.
