For the first time in history, it seems it would have been good to get Shane Warne’s advice.

His new girlfriend, Australian model Emily Scott, has posted a picture of herself having a cigarette on Instagram and has been blasted by the public.

Her partner, Warne, is no stranger to getting caught with a cigarette – the cricket legend was famously snapped smoking in the West Indies when he was the ambassador for Nicorette in 1999.

That didn’t seem to stop Scott though.

“Smoke break #winter #sydney #sun,” she said, followed by sun, tree and leaf symbols.

She has since removed the image but the photo quickly attracted a swag of ‘likes’ and criticism in the few hours it was online.

“Not your best look,” kav53 said.

“Why ??? F***ing stupid…” jasonhardie added.

“Who cares, still hot,” aliciabalazs said, adding a kiss symbol.

Scott has graced the covers of men’s magazines and is also a DJ.

She is Warne’s first girlfriend after it was confirmed earlier this year he had split with fiancee Elizabeth Hurley.

The new couple have recently holidayed in Las Vegas with Warne’s children Summer, Jackson and Brooke.
