A loved up Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have walked the red carpet in Melbourne, with the Australian star kissing her husband and declaring her love for the musician.

The glamour couple were guests of honour on Friday at the Celebrate Life Ball, which raises funds for the Monash Children’s Hospital.

When Kidman was quizzed on what makes her life great, she smiled broadly, turned to her husband and replied “him”, kissing Urban.

“We prioritise each other, always. Nothing would ever, ever come before him.

“It’s that simple.”

British magazine Closer recently reported Kidman and Urban’s relationship was on the rocks.

Urban said most of the time they ignored negative reports about their personal life but sometimes it hurts.

“It’s like walking down the street hand-in-hand and someone just sucker-punching you out of the blue,” he said.

“You are just like ‘what the hell?’. That’s exactly what it feels like.

“We just sort of do our best to just get on with our life and hope that people don’t read that sort of nonsense.”

Urban said he was excited to celebrate the couple’s eight-year anniversary in Melbourne on June 25.

He says they might go out the evening before, as he will be playing a show on the night.

“Normally I wouldn’t work on our anniversary or anything like that, but sometimes you can’t choose which nights the venue is going to be available and that sort of thing.”
