Tickets for Russell Crowe’s “Indoor Garden Party” in Coffs Harbour are reportedly in high demand, with the first allocation already sold out.

The Hollywood star is bringing his show which features singers and performers from across the globe to the Coffs Harbour Jetty Memorial Theatre in early January.

Coffs Harbour is staging the only show in Australian, after stints in New York and London.

Theatre Manager Dave Brammah said there have been ticket enquires from all over the world.

“It was quite amazing, we had this one woman in particular booked six tickets.

“She’s coming from Spain, she flies in on the Thursday, she’s watching each show with six of her friends from Spain, and she flies back out again on the Tuesday.”

Mr Brammah said even theatre management is in the dark as to exactly what is in store with the show.

“It’s Russell Crowe with some of his friends, musician friends as well as acting friends.

“We don’t know who we’re going to get, it’s a bit of a surprise.

“But by all accounts in the past it has included Ben Affleck and Hugh Jackman.

“That’s not to say we’re going to have these people, but that’s the calibre of the performer we’re going to see.”
