American popstar and actress Ariana Grande has secretly married real estate agent Dalton Gomez in a private wedding ceremony with fewer than 20 people.
The “tiny and intimate” wedding took place at the 27-year-old’s Montecito home in southern California over the weekend, a representative for the singer told the PA news agency.
“The room was so happy and full of love. The couple and both families couldn’t be happier.”
Grande shared news of her engagement to her 235 million Instagram followers and posted a selection of pictures including one of her pearl and diamond engagement ring.
She captioned the post: “forever n then some.” (See below)
Grande announced in December she was engaged to Gomez, 25.
“She’s gotten to know him quickly with the quarantine. They’ve been spending a lot of one-on-one time at home,” a source told EOnline at the time.
The couple made their first public appearance together in the lockdown music video Stuck With U, which was released in May.
Grande was previously engaged to Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson.
They called off their relationship in 2019.
According to the BBC, Gomez was raised in southern California and has been working in the luxury real estate market for the past five years.
In February last year the loved-up pair were spotted kissing in an LA restaurant. Last October, Grande released her sixth album, Positions, which topped both the UK and US charts.
An insider previously told People her family is also “very happy” about their engagement.
“Ari’s family is very happy. Everyone loves Dalton. He is great for Ari,” the insider said at the time. “This phase of her life has been very quiet and uneventful in a good way. They are very happy that she is marrying Dalton.”
