Celebrities including tennis champion Serena Williams and the cast of Suits have touched down in the UK ahead of the royal wedding on Saturday.

After a royal eve dinner party with the cast of Suits at Barn restaurant in Sunningdale to toast their former costar, Meghan’s onscreen husband Patrick J Adams, 36, posted a tender message about the “strange, surreal and wonderful” day his friend is going to have when she marries Prince Harry in Windsor on Saturday.

“Going to bed now and thinking a lot about the strange surreal and wonderful day my friend Meghan is going to have tomorrow.”

“Meghan – wherever you are – we are so grateful to be here to watch you both take this monumental step together.

“Love deeply and live well,” Adams wrote.

He also shared a photograph of the entire cast at the dinner table on Instagram, captioning it “The last supper #royalwedding”.

Harper’s Bazaar is reporting Serena Williams, who had recently pulled out of the Italian Open this weekend, touched down at Heathrow International airport in London on Saturday (Friday local time).

Her Reddit-founder husband Alexis Ohanian carried their baby, Olympia, as Williams, looking casual in a short black dress with matching sneakers, pushed a pram.

Other Suits stars at the table included Gina Torres, Sarah Rafferty and Rick Hoffman.

On Friday, the trio appeared on NBC’s Today show to discuss the wedding.

“We worked together for so many years on the show. It’s such an amazing experience. We were with each other for longer than we went to college or high school with our friends,” Rafferty said.

“We became family, in a way. We’re still family. So, this is a wonderful family affair.”

Torres said on the show she was “still reacting” to being invited to the big day and Rafferty joked “doves flew out” of the envelope when she received her invitation.

Torres and Rafferty said they were aware of Meghan’s relationship with Harry in the earlier days of their romance but they knew “very little” at the time, while Hoffman said he “got the news quite early”.

“We knew she was excited and there was reason to keep it close to the vest,” Torres said.

“I got the news early and I was like, ‘You have got to be kidding me!’ And it was both of us in the trailer like, ‘Oh my god, you’re dating a prince!’, Hoffman said.

“And then I told her to take it slow, to be careful.”

Meghan played Rachel Zane, a paralegal-turned-lawyer, for seven seasons in Suits before announcing her departure following her engagement to Harry.

In her final episode of the seventh series, she was seen marrying love interest Mike Ross, played by Patrick J Adams.

More to come.
