Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe is reportedly in negotiations to star in a film about the creator of hugely popular video game Grand Theft Auto.
The film would be made by the BBC and be based on a dispute between the creator of the game and a US lawyer who wanted to ban video game violence, The Hollywood Reporter has claimed.

Mr Radcliffe would play Sam Houser, president of the company that produced the game.
Lawyer Jack Thompson repeatedly attacked Sam Houser and his company Rockstar Games for ‘glorifying violence’.
The movie will reportedly begin filming in April this year and be based on the book Jacked: The Outlaw Story of Grant Theft Auto.
There have been five instalments of Grant Theft Auto, a video game that encourages players to steal cars, kill civilians and commit various other crimes.
The series is one of the most popular game franchises ever made.
