The role

The Agency Sales Lead has responsibility for revenue growth, this includes sourcing contacts, managing on-going relationships, creating new advertising ideas to take to market and taking the lead on managing all our agency relationships, alongside the Partnerships and Business Development Manager.

The successful candidate will also have to work seamlessly and collaboratively with our programmatic sales partner, Publift. This person must have a minimum five-year background in agency sales with a solid network of agency prospects, coupled with outstanding communication and negotiation skills. This is a very hands-on role and requires someone with a proven track record in media sales, genuine digital expertise and experience of working closely with the major media agencies in Australia.

Key responsibilities

  • To generate display and video advertising revenues through servicing relevant industry business contacts at media advertising agencies nationally
  • Prepare compelling and relevant proposals for clients for advertising agencies
  • Oversee and manage agency campaigns from point-of-sale to go live
  • Project manage any critical partnerships internally and externally related to advertising
  • Manage assigned accounts and maintain excellent client relationships with media agencies
  • Proactively manage client relationships and identify growth opportunities
  • Provide campaign and revenue reporting to internal stakeholders in required timeframe
  • Proactively find, develop and manage client and prospect relationships
  • A strong commitment to creatively drive and achieve monthly budgets

 Competencies & Experience

  • Experience with managing media agency clients
  • Substantial and established agency contact list in Australia
  • A minimum of five-years’ experience and a proven track record in digital sales
  • Understanding of the digital media landscape, including programmatic advertising
  • A strong understanding of data and an ability to interpret and present this data to a variety of clients
  • Responsibility for managing revenue partners – sales agencies, technology platforms, re-sellers
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Experience in providing strategic solutions for clients
  • Strong client/stakeholder management skills
