Usain Bolt won three gold medals at Rio 2016, adding to his six from Beijing and London.

And despite this being his final Olympic Games, he might soon be hunting for more gold with rumours the track superstar will soon be in the market for a wedding ring.

According to reports in The Sun citing Bolt’s sister, the champion sprinter will soon be engaged with his ‘secret’ girlfriend.

But why ‘secret’?

Bolt told The Telegraph earlier in the year that he wanted to keep Kasi Bennett out of the headlines.

But it seems her pride for the sprint star on social media outed her identity.

Bennett posted several times throughout the Olympics in support of Bolt before his three races.

“How are your nerves?”, a Twitter user asked.

Bennett replied: “You know I’m never nervous. He always got it. All the work and talent, all him.”

In April, Bolt posted a photo of the pair to Instagram with the caption “President and the First Lady”. That caption might be telling, Usain.

Farah hid medal in his pocket

British running great Mo Farah won his second gold medal at Rio – and his fourth of all time – when he took out the 5000m on Sunday (AEST).

That gold medal meant he won the 5000m and 10,000m Olympic double twice (Rio and London Olympics).

And the Somalian-born distance running machine had one final trick as he bowed out of his last Olympic Games.

As he stood on the dais to receive his 5000m gold medal, Farah cheekily pulled his 10,000m medal out of his pocket and posed with both for photos.

The Maracana goes off

Brazil finally won its first ever Olympic football gold medal, beating Germany on penalties at the famous Maracana stadium.

The win was sealed when captain and local hero Neymar scored the decisive penalty in a shootout.

It prompted one of world football’s most revered stadiums to go absolutely off its rocker.

Have a look and a listen to these scenes. The first video follows Neymar’s winning penalty. The second video follows Weverton (Brazil’s goalkeeper) saving a German penalty before Neymar’s spot kick.

The emotion is plain to see on Neymar’s face as he helped Brazil to the gold medal they didn’t want the Olympics to end without – football.

Usain Bolt to javelin?

Video has emerged of Usain Bolt throwing a javelin in an empty Olympic stadium following his 4x100m gold medal.

Bolt reportedly threw about 50m. Germany’s Thomas Rohler won the javelin gold medal in Rio with a 90.3m throw. Bolt has some work to do.

What to watch on Monday

If you’re up early, the men’s gold medal match in the basketball is always worth watching.

Serbia were mighty impressive in accounting for the Boomers, but can Milos Teodosic and co take it up to the USA?

Find out from 4.45am (AEST), before the closing ceremony (9am AEST) ends a remarkable and memorable Olympic Games.
