Big-hearted Winx gallops to her 17th win in row
Jockey Hugh Bowman wins the Longines Queen Elizabeth Stakes race at Randwick Racecourse in Sydney on Saturday.
Winx has continued her phenomenal run, notching her 17th straight win, in the $4 million Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Randwick.
No Doubt, Hartnell, Happy Clapper and The United States went to the front early, but the back straight belonged to Winx as she won by five lengths.
Hugh Bowman rode her over the line first for the 15th time since the streak started in May of 2015, ahead of rival Hartnell and Sense Of Occasion.
ABC Grandstand‘s Gerald Whately summed it up in a tweet immediately after she crossed the line.
