Thousands of fans turn out for Ronda Rousey
World-renowned mixed martial arts (MMA) star Ronda Rousey appeared at Melbourne’s Federation Square on Thursday to promote this weekend’s UFC193 fight at Etihad Stadium.
Rousey plans to defend her world title against Holly Holm, as fans gear up for one of the most anticipated sporting events of the year.
The fight at Etihad Stadium is expected to attract more than 55,000 fans, breaking the record for the single biggest crowd ever at an UFC event.

After a successful stint as an Olympian, the 28-year-old made the switch to UFC, going on to be one of world sport’s most recognised identities.
On Thursday, Rousey arrived at Federation Square and was greeted by thousands of fans.
