VIDEO: Tony Hawk’s crazy new skating move

World famous skateboarder Tony Hawk has made history by becoming the first person to skate through a horizontal loop ramp.

Hawk, 47, completed the move by skating over and then into the loop, while he had a video camera strapped to his head and board.

Before completing the ambitious move, Hawk said he was very nervous about the stunt.

“This is all my crazy idea,” Hawk said.

“As far as I know, no one has done anything like this.”

“If I let the anxiety take over, then it will be worst case scenario.”

After completing some practice runs with landing pads at the bottom of the run, the action sports champ said: “Ok, I am ready, get these pads out of here.”

It’s not the first time Hawk has achieved a first in the skateboarding world.

In 2011, he became the first person to land a trick known as the “900”.
