St Kilda recruit Jake Carlisle is facing allegations from the Nine Network that he filmed himself snorting white powder then sent the video to a friend.

Carlisle’s shift from Essendon to the Saints was confirmed on Wednesday morning, when the trade paperwork was lodged at AFL headquarters.

That evening, Nine broadcast a video of what it alleges is Carlisle snorting white powder.

A Current Affair showed a grainy clip in which a man appears to snort white powder.

Nine alleges the man is Carlisle and that he sent the video to a friend via social media app Snapchat.

It is unclear what the white powder in the video is, while the AFL and St Kilda are yet to comment on the video or Nine’s allegations.

Carlisle is on holidays in the United States and it is an unwanted start to the 24-year-old’s career in the red, white and black.
