Marsh, O’Keefe make Test debuts

Former Test vice-captain Geoff Marsh has presented his son Mitchell with his baggy green cap on debut for Australia’s first Test against Pakistan in Dubai.

West Australian Mitchell Marsh joins his older brother Shaun to follow in the footsteps of their father Geoff, who played 50 Tests.

NSW spinner Steve O’Keefe was also handed his debut on Wednesday and received his cap in an on-field presentation from former Test batsman Dean Jones before play.

After the presentations, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat.
