Australia’s Jack Miller has won the Moto3 Australian Grand Prix in a thrilling finish to narrow the gap on title rival Alex Marquez.

Miller navigated a host of lead changes at the death to edge Marquez and Alex Rins by the tiniest of margins on Phillip Island.

It was a tremendous display of driving from Miller, who clearly had the slower bike, but his talent was perfectly showcased with some expert weaving to hold off the chasing pack to cross the finish line first.

The win sees Miller close the gap between him and Marquez on the Moto3 championship standings to 20 points with just two races remaining.
