Four 170-year-old shipwrecks have been found on an isolated reef off Queensland’s far north coast

Four 19th-century shipwrecks have been discovered off Queensland’s coast.
Archaeologists from the Australian National Maritime Museum found the shipwrecks during a week-long expedition of the Coral Sea.

They had been searching for the remains of eight ships known to have sunk at Kenn Reef, more than 500km off the mainland, during the mid-1800s.
