Two arrests for planned attack
German police commando units have arrested two people suspected of planning an attack.
They also searched an Islamic cultural centre in western Berlin on Thursday.
The two men arrested, aged 28 and 48, were detained after the police raids, at a separate location in the south of the capital.

The arrests came after an object that was ‘presumed to be hazardous’ was found in a car used by the two men.
As a result, police blocked off the area and evacuated residents from several buildings, according to a police statement.
Chancellor Angela Merkel said on Wednesday that the security threat level in Germany remained high after the Paris attacks.
The November 13 atrocities, a co-ordinated series of attacks across the French capital, saw 130 people die and over 300 injured.
