Body recovered from NSW river

The body of a 33-year-old man has been recovered in Sydney’s Hawkesbury River by police divers.
Emergency services were called to the river on Wednesday afternoon after the swimmer got into difficulties and disappeared at Windsor Heights.

Local police, the State Emergency Service and PolAir have set up a command post at the scene.
The man’s body was located south of the Windsor Bridge just before midnight.
In 2014, a group of friends swimming went missing after getting into trouble near the Windsor bridge.
Police helicopters were called in to find the group.
