Mayor destroys schoolboy, 10, with rugby tackle

London’s eccentric mayor Boris Johnson has sensationally steamrolled an unsuspecting Japanese schoolboy during a rugby scratch match.

It happened whilst Johnson was on an official visit to Tokyo and decided to partake in a game of street rugby with some Japanese students.

It did not go well. Johnson’s agility failed him and instead of evading the tiny schoolboy, he just went ahead and barged straight through him, knocking him to the floor.

The look on the young fella’s face as he hits the deck says it all. It was traumatic.

The video was even more incriminating.

First Johnson can be seen proudly scoring a try, but the incident occurred when he went for glory a second time.

The 10-year-old told reporters he “felt a little bit of pain”, before he got to his feet and kept playing.

“It’s ok,” the child said.

The mayor shook the poor kids hand, gave him a souvenir 2015 Rugby World Cup ball, and said the meeting had been “enjoyable”, according to The Independent.

“We have just played a game of street rugby with a bunch of kids and I accidentally flattened a 10-year-old, on TV unfortunately,” Johnson said later at a meeting.

“But, he bounced back, he put it behind him, the smile returned rapidly to his face.

“That is my theme tonight – the possibility that confidence can suddenly and unexpectedly return.”

Everyone just remember this one thing – Johnson is a man who had been touted as a future British Prime Minister.

At least he looks competitive enough.
