Three children dragged from fire

A Dallas family has been lucky to escape a fire in their home overnight.
Three children and two adults were dragged from the blaze around 12.30am on Friday morning, according to The Age.

A man was treated for cuts to his hand, after smashing a window in an attempt to get his family out of the house.
The man also suffered smoke inhalation and was taken to the Royal Melbourne hospital in a stable condition for treatment.
The three children, all under 15, were also taken to the Royal Melbourne.
Two of the children suffered burns and smoke inhalation, while the third child was taken to hospital as a precaution.
The woman was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene.
Fire crews took half an hour to control the fire.
The cause of the fire is not yet known, and is being investigated.
