According to Spacey, Bill Clinton has told him that “99 percent” of what is depicted on the TV show about Washington politics is true to life.

“Kevin, 99 percent of what you do on that show is real,” Mr Spacey quoted the President as saying.

“The 1 percent you get wrong is you could never get an education bill passed that fast.”

The actor and politician are reportedly friends.

Current President Barack Obama has also said he loves the show, which airs on Netflix.
